    I just loved this story! The detail for the time period was perfect. She gave enough to mentally visualize, but not so much you got bogged down. The plot twist was unexpected. But then, I see in her other books, she keeps you guessing to the very end. The knights were a nice addition.

    I got hooked from pge one. Cedwick was funny as hell. Odim, sweet! Aleana Brigham is a sweetheart who loves her sister. Edward Graysmark was an ass at first but Aleana’s love turned him into a lover.

    Great book! I was immediately drawn in and loved the story. It’s been years since I’ve read a historical novel but used to love them. Now I find myself wanting more. It’s fun to be taken back in time, and everything was so well done. I loved the expressions used as they spoke, and references to things most of us never knew about. And the surprise at the end was excellent. Looking forward to more.

    Aleana who is raising her two year old sister gets kidnapped by knights thinking she’s someone else vfor their knight friend Edward. Sad thing is, she’s forced to marry Edward hoping he’ll let her get her sister. Very fast paced, Just loved the time period and the way the author brought the story to life with just enough visual so the reader can envision the entire story. Super ending! Totally unexpected. This story and writer delivers!

    You can’t beat a grouchy marquess and a lovely fairy who tames him. Add colorful characters, and a great storyline, and walla, you have a best seller! This story delivers!
